Kitsets and DIY
All our equipment comes in kitsets in a pre-assembled form (not just cut to length pieces of timber), with all posts and handrails cut to size, rounded and drilled. Closed-in cubby styles come with a lined roof for weatherproofing. All hardware (galvanised for protection from the weather) is supplied along with complete step-by-step illustrated instructions as well as our maintenance sheet, which has tips on protecting your equipment from the elements and keeping it in safe condition for your children’s use.
By providing kitsets, we've gone through all the trouble of bringing everything together to get you started on your own installation project:
- You don’t have to go through the brain racking process of designing the equipment to Australian safety standards for safety, strength and durability
- You don't have to work out all the specifications, find the materials needed (most suppliers only have CCA treated logs which can not be used for play equipment) and run around to pick them up
- You don't have the cost of buying all the necessary materials from a retail outlet, not to mention the hidden cost of the timber off cuts and waste
- One of our goals in providing kitsets is to save you time and money by making the process of getting the perfect home playground easy for you.
All of our designs started out as prototypes which have been modified time and time again to ensure that they not only provide hours of safe fun, but they also assemble and disassemble easily, so that you can move your equipment if you want. Most of our cubbies can be assembled in 2-4 hours.
